Writers' and Readers' Internet Tag

Hi Everyone,
Internet Tag! If you read this, it's YOUR turn to post the following questionnaire on YOUR blog!

What are you reading right now?
Understanding Creativity: The Interplay of Biological, Psychological, and Social Factors.
Supposed to be finishing my essay for my Comm class...Instead, I'm blogging...go figure.

Longest book you’ve ever read:
Shardik

Strangest title of a book that you’ve read:
I'm sorry, did you say something? Honey, if it doesn't grab me at first glance it ain't gettin' read.

Stupidest ending of a book you’ve read:
...happily ever after. Is this for real? Cuz, someone purposely misplaced my invite!

Which literary character have you related to the most?
Bagheera

Do you prefer fiction or nonfiction?
Depends on the reading. Both serve purpose.

Did you have a series of children’s/young adult books that you once enjoyed?
I still do. Naruto. Haven't missed an issue.

Can you enjoy reading the source book after seeing the screen adaptation?
The source book is always better. Whether I've seen the movie or not, I'd enjoy the book more.

Have you ever read a novelization of a movie or TV show?
No, and I hope I never will.

Book that "turned you on" the most, erotically speaking:
If anyone could point me in the direction of some thoroughly titillating Lesbian sex I'd appreciate it...None of this mushy, best friend bullshit. In the meantime, let me get back to my random bouts of self-standard corrupting male on male erotica.

Is there a real-life person that you’ve read more than one book about?
Real life? What's that?

Book that everyone’s read but you:
Anything Stephen King.

Favorite "classic" writer/novelist:
Henry David Thoreau.

Favorite contemporary novelist (let's say 1950s on):
Frank Waters

Favorite short story writer:
Tobias Wolff

Favorite columnist/journalistic writer:
I work at a freakin' newspaper! Like I have time to read them...

Favorite poet:
Henry David Thoreau. Conscience and I Knew A Man By Sight

Favorite guilty pleasure book or series:
Is SWANK considered a book?

Favorite book written by a famous actor or musician:
Kiss and Make-Up by Gene Simmons.

Author whose work you once enjoyed but no longer do:
I can't say that I've read enough variety to judge, but I have noticed that in high school I was in love with Poe. Now, listening to my teenager carry on about him...I used to be like that...is plain creepy!

Favorite comics/graphic fiction author:
Masashi Kishimoto...I adore how he's incorporated martial arts and magic with two relevant societal issues, especially among younger people - emotional growth and acceptance, into an action packed manga.

Did you read this? Then -- TAG!! You're it!

Later,
Bryl
